Barcelona has experienced a boom since the early 1990s, when preparations for the Olympic Games let to create a favorable atmosphere for business development. Today, it still remains the most famous Spanish city attracting million of foreigners looking for an open-minded environment.
The ESADE project was conceived in the spring of 1954 by a group of Catalan professionals and entrepreneurs dedicated to the idea of founding a university center of business research and training. The said institution would prepare and equip students with the skills necessary to create and run businesses and associations. After signing an agreement with the Societas Iesu in October 1958, ESADE was born.
Today ESADE, after half a century of experience, continues to contribute to the development of business leaders, teams and organizations as well as the rigorous preparation of legal experts. This is evident in the over 35,000 ESADE alumni world-wide, who occupy important positions in all types of businesses and organizations and who contribute to the economic and social development of their communities.
During our International week all the participants will experience business and cultural activities. Company visits are truly related to the Catalonian culture such as Cava (Catalan Champagne)caves and FC Barcelona Stadium. All the participants are taken for a two-day trip somewhere in Catalonia. You will experience the spanish way of life!
